Feeling comfortable comes first. Here’s what to know before booking your sitter.
Have another question?What does a babysitting session include?
Our sitters spend time with your children in your home, with games, books, creative activities, and the routines you agree on before the booking. Tell us what you need so we can discuss a suitable sitter and plan.
What ages and how many children can you care for?
Share your children’s ages and the number of children in your request. We confirm each booking based on the sitter’s experience and the care involved. Infant care, additional children, and any specific support needs must be discussed before a booking is accepted.
Who will be our sitter?
Athena leads the club as president, alongside three friends serving as vice president, treasurer, and communications lead. We agree on your sitter before confirming the booking. A request does not automatically book all four members.
Can we meet our sitter first?
Absolutely. The first introductory hour is free. It is a chance to get to know your sitter, introduce your children, share your routines, and decide whether it feels like a good fit. There is no obligation to book another session.
How is my reservation confirmed?
Submit an inquiry and the club will contact you by text to discuss availability. The adult parent who runs this site will then call your family before final confirmation. Sending this form does not confirm a reservation.
What should we share in the inquiry?
Your town, adult contact details, preferred date and time, the number and ages of children, and general interests. Do not include children’s names, birth dates, schools, home addresses, medical details, or other sensitive identifying information. After reservation confirmation, sensitive care details and emergency contacts will be discussed privately by phone, before the visit.
Can you help with meals, bedtime, or special requests?
Tell us what you have in mind. Simple snacks, bedtime routines, and other tasks must be agreed in advance with your sitter and the coordinator. Transport, swimming supervision, overnight stays, and medication are not included in a standard booking.
How do payment and cancellations work?
The introductory hour is free; regular babysitting starts at the listed hourly rate. We confirm the sitter, number of children, total price, and payment arrangements before each booking. If your plans change or anyone is unwell, let the coordinator know as soon as possible.
What experience or training do the sitters have?
Get to know your sitter before booking and discuss the experience needed for your family. We do not currently list verified CPR, first-aid, or childcare certifications for the club. Any relevant training can be discussed with the coordinator.
